Exabyte Mammoth-2 60 GB 8mm tape Drive 270013-1332 Designed for the enterprise, the Exabyte X200 tape library offers unbeatable capacity and expandability in a standalone form factor. Accommodating up to 10 drives and a staggering 200 Mammoth-2 cartridges, the Exabyte X200 library is scalable up to a 30TB compressed capacity, offering enough expandability to meet the needs of even the most data-intensive enterprises. This model is configured with two Mammoth-2 drives and 40 cartridge slots for a native capacity of 2.4TB (6TB with typical 2.5:1 compression). The two drives provide an aggregate transfer rate of 72GB/hr (180GB/hr compressed), and when ten drives are installed data moves at 432GB/hr (1.08TB/hr). The Fibre Channel interface makes it ideal for SAN environments, and Ethernet manageability makes it easy to administer. It also comes with a standard barcode reader for easy cataloguing of data cartridges.
