Shelves mount to the four vertical mounting rails. The 24" depth provides clearance for cables, ventilation, power strips, etc. This shelf has an adjustable mounting depth of 18 to 30 . it is made of strong, lightweight aluminum. The shelf locks in closed or fully open position providing stability and support for up to 140 lbs. The unit ships fully assembled and installs using (8) #12-24 screws (not included).
